More Charity shop gold

Well, for the princely sum of £5.95 I purchased this suit from the Salvation Army shop. With a clean and press and a little work on the length of the trousers it's a gem.
Just goes to show...you can still find great vintage cloths if you are patient and keep looking.

I had to loose the turnups (cuffs), to as the required length but it doesn't detract from the overall look and it was an easy job

Made in Streatham South London in June 1955, by George Dixon and Sons .

I can't quite make out the chaps name , whose suit it was though.

It was made somewhere along here in what is now sadly a supermarket
